I have the HP Pavilion 17" widescreen laptop (9000 series). While the sleeve is supposed to fit a 17" laptop, it is quite a stretch to get the new computer all the way into the sleeve. The sleeve itself does a great job protecting the laptop while it's in it, but it is almost more of a pain to get it in and out than it's worth. While the sleeve is great and colorful, make sure your laptop is not on the larger edge of the dimensions as, especially with the curved design of the sleeve, it is very difficult to use with some laptops.

If you have a Dell Inspiron 17" computer this sleeve will not fit it! It narrows too much in the middle.

This is an extremely well made sleeve for a laptop. I have a Toshiba 17" laptop and I bought this sleeve because of the outstanding workmanship. It fits my laptop like a glove. It is made of wet suit material which offers more cushion than another sleeve I used on my 15" laptop. It zips on the side instead of the front so it offers more protection for the computer. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this to match my pink 15.4 inch Dell Inspirion 1520(really thick) notebook...It fits it like a glove...and really protects it!! Love that it is also washable! Superior quality...I even ordered the matching bag for cords, etc...
** Although if thinking of purchasing this for a 17 inch notebook...DON'T! It will not fit!

At first, this thick neoprene sleeve would not fit my new Toshiba Satellite P205-S6337 17 inch laptop. After working with it, and stretching it for almost thirty minutes, I was able to get it in and zip it. The next day it was easy to remove the sleeve and MUCH easier to reinsert the laptop the second time around. I have not noticed any stitch breakage yet-- and would recommend this item if you want a really snug fitting sleeve that won't allow any movement of the laptop inside.
Update: After owning and using the sleeve for 6 weeks now, I am very happy with it. The laptop slips in and out easily, while still allowing no movement inside (so no scratches). Even though the sleeve has stretched enough to allow easy usage, the stitching remains secure-- with no breakage!
